Cadet College Petaro proudly inaugurated the Inter Colleges Sports Championship (ICSC) 2025 on Tuesday, 21st October 2025, marking the beginning of a dynamic week filled with energy, teamwork, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.
This year’s championship brings together four prestigious institutions from across Sindh:
1. Cadet College Petaro (CCP)
2. Cadet College Sanghar (CCS)
3. Cadet College Karachi (CCK)
4. Sarghodian Spirit Trust Public School Rashidabad (SST)
The event began with the arrival of guest contingents at the Reception at 1100 hrs, followed by the Opening Ceremony at the Pavilion at 1600 hrs. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Fayaz Hussain Abbasi, Commissioner Hyderabad, and Ex-Cadet of Cadet College Petaro (Kit No. 91104, Liaquat House). His inspiring address motivated the young athletes to strive for excellence both on and off the field.
The sports activities for Day 1 kicked off with Athletics, featuring the 100m, 400m, and 4x400m relay races, where all teams demonstrated remarkable determination, speed, and coordination at the Pavilion at 1700 hrs.
The excitement continued into the evening with thrilling Table Tennis matches at the Indoor Sports Complex at 1900 hrs, where the following contests took place:
CCP vs CCK
CCS vs SST
The first day of ICSC 2025 concluded on a high note, filled with enthusiasm, friendly competition, and unity among the participating colleges. Cadet College Petaro once again upheld its tradition of excellence in nurturing discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship among youth.
