The Inter-Colleges Sports Championship 2025 concluded with a dignified and memorable Closing Ceremony held at Cadet College Petaro.
The ceremony also featured the final and thrilling Athletics Competitions, in which all contingents participated, displaying remarkable physical endurance and competitive spirit. The events included:
• 200 Metres Sprint
• 1500 Metres Race
• 4 × 100 Metres Relay
Furthermore, the crowd witnessed an exciting Exhibition Tent Pegging Riding Competition between Cadet College Petaro (CCP) and Cadet College Sanghar (CCS), highlighting exceptional horsemanship and showcasing traditional cavalry skills deeply rooted in cadet training.
The event celebrated the outstanding performances, discipline, and sportsmanship displayed throughout the championship.
The Guest of Honour, Commodore Zeeshan Ali SI(M) Principal Cadet College Sanghar, Dr Farida Sheikh, Principal Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls, Shaheed Benazirabad and Principal Cadet College Karachi graced the occasion with presence and offered words of encouragement for the young cadet athletes.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Guest, Dr Sikandar Ali Shoro, Honourable Member of Provincial Assembly, Sindh. He was warmly received and accompanied by the Commandant and Principal of Cadet College Petaro, Commodore Faisal Iqbal Qazi SI(M). Their presence added immense value to this prestigious event.
Officials and faculty members from the participating cadet colleges, including their Commandants and Principals, also attended the ceremony, signifying the unity, cooperation, and mutual respect shared among the institutions.
Championship Results
Following several days of competitive fixtures, the final standings of ICSC-2025 were announced:
• Champions: Cadet College Petaro
• Runners-up: Sarghodian Spirit Trust Public School (SST), Rashidabad
The Chief Guest congratulated the winners and participants, emphasising the importance of sports in developing leadership, resilience, and teamwork. Medals, trophies, and shields were distributed among outstanding performers and winning teams.
